The world turns its gaze to Vatican City this Tuesday as the historic papal conclave approaches with just one day remaining until the election of the 267th pope begins.

In total, 133 cardinals will be voting during conclave, the most electors ever, and the expectation is that the process will be concluded no later than Friday.

BetOnline.ag has been offering "Next Pope Odds" since 2022. The market was updated on February 20 when Pope Francis was hospitalized, and then again on April 21 following Francis' passing.

That's when wagering really started to pick up, and there have been some key movements since that day.

MOVES SINCE APRIL 21:

- Luis Antonio Tagle remains the favorite at 1/1 (he opened with 14/1 odds in 2022).

- Peitro Parolin's odds have worsened from 2/1 to 4/1 (he opened with 14/1 odds in 2022).

- Wilton Daniel Gregory has made a huge jump, going from 12/1 to 9/2.

- Matteo Zuppi's odds have worsened from 6/1 to 10/1 (he opened with 16/1 odds in 2022).

In addition to the next pope odds, which you can find the full list below, there are odds for how many rounds the conclave will last, the pope's age and what his papal name will be.

So just how long will it take for the next pope to be selected and bets graded?  More likely in a matter of days but there have been times where the process took three years (1218 there were a lot of impatient bettors we suspect).
